The unit test system (which checks whether all reported bugs were actually fixed) was running fine for me. Maybe 1.4 will be a bit buggy, but I canât imagine that it will be as buggy as 1.2. I did feel some missing features and things that would be a bit more obvious to end users (like having a total count of unchanged pixels) but in my opinion the design of Darktable is still superior to many other open source desktop publishing packages. (In fact, in my opinion this should rather be directed at the LibreOffice team.) So, I strongly suggest that you download Darktable 1.3 by now. The release notes are available on the Darktable website.

When choosing Adobe Photoshop, you have to decide if you need photo editing software or photo manipulation software. If photo editing is what you are interested in, then the standard version of Adobe Photoshop would meet your needs. Still, if photo manipulation is more important than photo creation/editing capabilities, then the Creative Cloud subscription might be better for the features included.

In Photoshop, click on the Share icon in the upper right of the workspace and select Share for Review from the list of options. A new Share panel is displayed that allows you to open your image files in your Browser. With a click of the Browser button, you get taken to a new Browser window where you can open, manage and organize your files in a new folder. Share for Review allows you to edit the files directly in your browser. And if your sharing is with others, you can also use file access control restrictions models, meaning, if you share a file on your hard drive, you can control who has access.
By default, when you share a file using Share for Review, itâs open and editable by anyone who can access your browser. With a click of the Share for Review icon again, you return to Share panel and can select to make the file private so only you can edit it, or open it in the browser. If you select the private option, when you close the browser, your files are inaccessible.
